MEFAB began as a small fabrication company in Dubai (formerly known as the Modern East Fabrication & Engineering LLC, RASHIDIYAH) in 1989, with only eight employees. Modern East Fabrication & Engineering, today a renowned Oil & Gas equipment fabricator in Dubai, first served the construction and industrial sectors before diversifying into the Oil and Gas and Construction sectors. MEFAB, a prominent industrial equipment fabricator in UAE, received ISO 9000 accreditation in 2003 to update our facilities to worldwide standards. We received the ASME U stamp for building pressure vessels in 2006.

As a budding Oil & Gas Equipment fabricator in Dubai, Modern East Fabrication & Engineering grew with Dubai’s tremendous growth, we relocated and opened a new facility, MEFAB Engineering Industry LLC in Dubai Industrial City, with a better and bigger infrastructure to cater for the Middle East market in 2009, which is ISO 9001:2015 certified, ASME U and National Board R is certified for building and repairing pressure vessels.
